Children’s Online Credibility Judgements

What are we studying: How children interact with internet sources and judge credibility

Involvement: 30-minute Zoom session, children will view websites and answer questions about the things they like/dislike/trust about the content

Age: 7-12 year olds

Development of Childhood Honesty

What are we studying: How children think and behave in everyday situations involving honesty and lie-telling

Involvement: 90-minute in-person session; Children will read stories and play games with our research staff

Age: 4-8-year-olds

Study #1. Exploring responses to altered auditory feedback in autistic children. 

Involvement: 2 hour session. Children will name objects on a computer screen while listening through their own voice through headphones. Language and hearing will also be tested.

Age: Autistic children 3-13 year olds

Study #2. Investigating Decreased Sound Tolerance in Children

What were studying: Our study looks at decreased sound tolerance, a condition where some children react strongly to everyday sounds that others barely notice.

Involvement: 1 hour session. Children  and their parents will take part in short questionnaires and sound-listening activities to help us understand how kids experience sounds and how this connects to their social and sensory development.

Age:  6-12 year olds

Study #3. Understanding Sensory processing and Attention in Virtual Reality

What were studying:Are you excited about Virtual Reality? Come help us understand sensory processing and attention!

Involvement: 1 hour session. In this task, your child will complete a game in both a high sensory environment (a city, with lots to see) and a quiet environment.
