{"id":61,"date":"2017-04-03T16:30:48","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T20:30:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/specialprojects.wlu.ca\/fosteringpluralism\/?page_id=61"},"modified":"2021-02-26T23:54:05","modified_gmt":"2021-02-27T04:54:05","slug":"home-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/specialprojects.wlu.ca\/fosteringpluralism\/","title":{"rendered":"Home Page"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">This project uncovers how xenophobia and racism are challenged within local communities in Europe.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Through projects such as kitchen hubs, arts projects, and shared living spaces, we illustrate how newcomers and locals come together and create new, shared living experiences. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">This living together \u2013what we call<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #330072\"><em style=\"font-size: inherit\"> transgressive cosmopolitanism<\/em><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit\"> \u2013 is rooted in the everyday lives of uprooted and marginalized peoples such as migrants and refugees.
