Dr. Patrick Watson

Dr. Patrick Watson is the Principal Investigator of the Seeing Justice project. 

His area of expertise is the handling of evidence in officials circumstances – courts of law, military proceedings, government meetings, etc. He is interested in rules for adopting evidence, the reasoning practices involved in interpreting evidence, and the outcomes of the proceedings that handle various sorts of evidence, but in particular, video evidence of (state) violence.  He received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Manchester (UK) in 2010.
