The plant systematics and biodiversity lab at Wilfrid Laurier University has recently acquired a Hitachi SU-1500 scanning electron microscope and a sputter coater with funding from a CFI-LOF grant. The microscope is 
located in the Herbarium (room SR218), and is open to users with different levels of expertise from the campus, other universities, industry and the community at large. See here for reservation and fees information.
